May 2025 Herbal Tea Tasting: LINDEN
Welcome to the May 2025 Herbal Tea Tasting
Join us for a one hour herbal tea tasting experience. We will begin by learning to identify the plant, then discuss where, how, and with whom it lives in nature. You’ll learn the different types of medicinal properties, then we’ll brew some for tea tasting. We’ll explore the lore and magic this herb can bring to your life, both in teas and food.
You may wish to bring a journal to write your tasting notes and create drawings (if art is your thing).
Because this month’s plant is LINDEN, we will be learning about how this beautiful plant can support you during periods of anxiety as both a tea and an aromatic.
To demonstrate this, we’ll also show you how to make your very own flower petal hydrosol. In fact, we’ll be giving you a recipe card so you can make your own!

This event is being hosted by the Central Jersey Chapter of Herbalists Without BordersTM (CJHWB).
The event is FREE – Donations will be accepted at the event – cash or credit card. All donations are tax-deductible.
