March 2025 Herbal Tea Tasting: MAGNOLIA!

Welcome to the March 2025 Herbal Tea TastingJoin us for a one hour herbal tea tasting experience. We will begin by learning to identify the plant, then discuss where, how, and with whom it lives in nature. You’ll learn the different types of medicinal properties, then we’ll brew some for tea tasting. We’ll explore the lore and magic this herb can bring to your life, both in teas and food.You may wish to bring a journal to write your tasting notes and create drawings (if art is your thing).Because this month’s plant is MAGNOLIA and we’re in the beginning of spring. we are also going to learn why it is an important plant to support a person facing anxiety, depression, sleep issues, stress, mood disturbances, epilepsy, and other ailments of the brain, as well as asthma, allergies, stuffy nose, sinus headaches, and respiratory infections. To demonstrate this, we’ll also show you how to make your very own magnolia tincture. In fact, we’ll be giving you a recipe card so you can make your own!✨ 📔 ✨ Every participant will have the opportunity to purchase an Herbal Tea Tasting Journal. ✨ 📔 ✨This event is being hosted by the Central Jersey Chapter of Herbalists Without Borders^TM (CJHWB).The event is FREE – Donations will be accepted at the event – cash or credit card.
