SUMMARY:February 2025 Herbal Tea Tasting: ROSEMARY!
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the February 2025 Herbal Tea Tasting \nJoin us for a one hour herbal tea tasting experience. We will begin by learning to identify the plant\, then discuss where\, how\, and with whom it lives in nature. You’ll learn the different types of medicinal properties\, then we’ll brew some for tea tasting. We’ll explore the lore and magic this herb can bring to your life\, both in teas and food. \nYou may wish to bring a journal to write your tasting notes and create drawings (if art is your thing). \nBecause this month’s plant is ROSEMARY and we’re in the heart of winter. we are also going to learn why it is an important ingredient in cooking.  \nTo demonstrate this\, we’ll also show you how to make your very own bone broth. In fact\, we’ll be giving you a sample of the broth to take home* and a bone so you can make your own! \n✨ 📔 ✨ Every participant will have the opportunity to purchase an Herbal Tea Tasting Journal and loose tea! ✨ 📔 ✨ \nThis event is being hosted by the Central Jersey Chapter of Herbalists Without BordersTM (CJHWB).\nThe event is FREE – Donations will be accepted at the event – cash or credit card. All donations are tax-deductible. \n*Pint-sized Mason glass jars will be provided for a $5 donation to CJHWB\, but you are welcome to bring your own pint-sized\, heat safe jar if you’d like to take home some of the bone broth we make in the demonstration. \n\n\nDisclaimers:\nAll material provided at this event is for informational or educational purposes only.
